Job summary

JPR Balaji Infra Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager - Civil to lead and manage civil construction and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.

You will drive project execution, planning, coordination, quality, safety, cost control and timely delivery. The role requires excellent leadership, strong knowledge of drawings and BOQ, and hands-on experience with MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute civil construction and infrastructure projects as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project schedule.
• Take overall responsibility for site execution, progress and project delivery.
• Prepare and monitor detailed project execution schedules and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultants, Architects, Contractors, Vendors and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and manage site teams including Engineers, Supervisors, Subcontractors and workmen.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and contractual requirements and ensure proper execution at site.
• Monitor quantities, material requirements, manpower and equipment deployment.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources and control project costs.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of construction materials at site.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, work progress and billing.
• Ensure construction is carried out as per approved quality standards, method statements and inspection procedures.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager -Civil to lead and manage civil construction and infrastructure projects from project initiation through completion. The candidate will be responsible for overall project execution, planning, coordination, quality, safety, cost control and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute civil construction and infrastructure projects as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project schedule.
• Take overall responsibility for site execution, progress and project delivery.
• Prepare and monitor detailed project execution schedules and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultants, Architects, Contractors, Vendors and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and manage site teams including Engineers, Supervisors, Subcontractors and workmen.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and contractual requirements and ensure proper execution at site.
• Monitor quantities, material requirements, manpower and equipment deployment.

• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with the Client/Consultant.
• Identify site issues, technical challenges and project risks and take timely corrective action.
• Maintain proper documentation including DPR/WPR/MPR, measurement records, inspection reports and project correspondence.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and submit regular progress reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE/Safety requirements at the project site.
• Coordinate with commercial and billing teams for measurements, RA Bills, variations and reconciliation.
• Assist in identifying and processing variations, deviations, extra items and EOT requirements, wherever applicable.
• Ensure proper handover, snag rectification, testing and commissioning, wherever applicable.
• Maintain effective communication between the Head Office and Project Site.
• Represent the company in project review meetings with Clients and Consultants.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience

815 years of relevant experience in civil construction/infrastructure projects, preferably in:

• Industrial Buildings
• Warehouses & Logistics Parks
• RCC & PEB Structures
• Railway Infrastructure
• Port Infrastructure
• Roads & Internal Infrastructure
• Container/Stock Yards
• Industrial Infrastructure
• EPC Civil Projects

Candidates with experience in large-scale infrastructure/EPC projects and client-facing project management will be preferred.
