Job summary

Profound Human Resource Development Advisors seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, and project schedules. You will manage subcontractors, foremen, and labor to maintain productivity and discipline.

Responsibilities include quality control, safety compliance, material planning, surveying, measurements, billing verification, and coordination with architects, inspectors, and clients to secure clearances and resolve field

• Site supervision and execution of daily construction activities on-site according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Quality control and assurance through inspection of civil works, management of material testing, and adherence to local codes and standards.
• Progress monitoring and reporting: tracking daily progress, preparing site reports, and informing the Project Manager of delays or bottlenecks.
• Direct supervision of subcontractors, foremen, and labor to maintain productivity and discipline on-site.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations to minimize hazards and ensure zero-accident execution.
• Material and inventory management: estimate quantities, coordinate deliveries, track usage, and approve vendor quality.
• Blueprint and technical review: interpret drawings and BIM models and resolve discrepancies with design team.
• Record site measurements and verify contractor bills against work performed; assist in quantity surveying and cost control.
• Conduct or verify site setting out and level checks using surveying instruments before execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, inspectors, and utility agencies to resolve queries and secure necessary clearances.

Role & responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring structural elements are executed according to approved engineering drawings, design specifications, and project schedules.
• Quality Control & Assurance: Inspect ongoing civil works, manage material testing (concrete, rebar, soil), and ensure all work adheres to quality standards and local building codes.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily progress against the project schedule, prepare site reports, and report delays or technical bottlenecks to the Project Manager.
• Subcontractor & Workforce Management: Direct and supervise site foremen, sub-contractors, and labor teams to maintain productivity, workflow efficiency, and discipline on-site.
• Safety & Compliance (HSE): Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site to minimize workplace hazards and ensure zero-accident execution.
• Material & Inventory Management: Estimate required material quantities, coordinate timely site deliveries, track usage to reduce wastage, and approve vendor material quality.
• Blueprint & Technical Review: Interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and BIM models; resolve discrepancies between design plans and field conditions in coordination with architects and structural engineers.
• Measurements & Billing Verification: Record site measurements, verify contractor bills (RA bills) against actual executed work, and assist in quantity surveying and cost control.
• Surveying & Setting Out: Conduct or verify site setting out, level checks, and layout alignments using surveying instruments (Total Station, Auto Level) before commencing execution.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, local municipal inspectors, and utility agencies for smoothly resolving technical queries and securing necessary site clearances.
