The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management, coordination, and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely project closure.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage projects from initiation through execution and final handover. The role will involve end-to-end project planning, budgeting, procurement, vendor and contractor coordination, quality control, and compliance management to ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management capabilities, excellent coordination and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring smooth execution and timely project closure.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Execution & Management

• - Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from initiation and site assessment through completion and final handover.
• - Develop detailed project schedules, work plans, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
• - Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
• - Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• - Identify potential project risks, delays, and dependencies, and implement corrective measures to minimise disruptions.
• - Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to ensure work is progressing as per the approved plans and specifications.
• - Prepare and share regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, challenges, and pending decisions.

2. Cost Management & Procurement

• - Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and expenditure forecasts to ensure adherence to approved financial plans.
• - Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements and timelines.
• - Evaluate quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and recommend cost-effective vendors and suppliers.
• - Track purchase orders, material deliveries, invoices, and project-related expenses.
• - Identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising quality, safety, or project requirements.
• - Monitor budget variances and ensure that any additional costs or scope changes are appropriately reviewed and approved.
• - Maintain accurate records of project costs, procurement activities, and financial commitments.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

• - Identify, evaluate, appoint, and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers based on project requirements.
• - Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely mobilisation, execution, and delivery of work.
• - Clearly communicate project specifications, scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
• - Monitor vendor and contractor performance against agreed timelines, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
• - Conduct regular coordination meetings to resolve site-level challenges and address execution bottlenecks.
• - Manage contractor work schedules, resource deployment, and inter-vendor coordination to avoid delays.
• - Review work completion, certify progress where authorised, and coordinate resolution of contractual or execution-related issues.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance (EHS)

• - Ensure that all project activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable statutory requirements.
• - Monitor adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines and workplace safety procedures at project sites.
• - Conduct regular site inspections to identify quality issues, safety risks, and deviations from approved plans.
• - Coordinate with contractors and relevant stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• - Ensure appropriate permits, approvals, licences, and safety documentation are in place, as applicable to the project.
• - Maintain project documentation, inspection reports, quality checklists, and compliance records.
• - Escalate critical safety concerns, quality deviations, and compliance risks to the appropriate stakeholders and ensure timely resolution.
