Job summary

Thakural Constructions - India is hiring a Senior Civil Site & Execution Engineer to bridge design and on-site execution. You will review structural/architectural blueprints, oversee daily construction, and drive cross-functional coordination to align office planning with ground-level work.

The ideal candidate has 15–20 years of hands-on site experience, expertise in AutoCAD, and strong MS Excel/MS Project skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 15–20 years of proven hands-on site execution, concrete supervision, and drawing reviews on large-scale projects.
• Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, reading blueprint matrices, and MS Excel/Project.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and evaluate structural/architectural blueprints for constructability.
• Identify design clashes early and recommend modifications.
• Develop Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and execute site leveling.
• Supervise daily construction to ensure execution adheres to plans and safety norms.
• Conduct quality inspections of excavation, foundation, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete.
• Monitor material consumption and oversee on-site testing.
• Serve as the central contact between design consultants, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.
• Coordinate daily schedules with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material delivery.
• Maintain daily site diaries, material reconciliation logs, and safety records.
• Draft weekly/monthly progress reports for management.

Job Description: Senior Civil Site & Execution Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Civil Engineer to bridge the gap between design and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting structural and architectural blueprints, overseeing day-to-day on-site construction, and managing cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical acumen, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to seamlessly align office planning with ground-level execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Blueprint Review & Technical Mapping
   • (a) Interpret and evaluate structural blueprints, architectural layouts, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) designs for buildability and constructability.
   • (b) Identify design inconsistencies, dimensional clashes, or technical challenges early and recommend modifications.
   • (c) Develop accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and execute precise site leveling, setting out, and layout marking.
2. On-Site Execution & Quality Control
   • (a) Supervise daily construction activities to ensure execution strictly aligns with approved plans, project specifications, and local safety norms.
   • (b) Conduct meticulous quality inspections for excavation, foundation setting, reinforcement steel fixing, formwork, and concrete pouring.
   • (c) Monitor material consumption to reduce wastage and supervise necessary on-site testing (e.g., concrete slump, material strength).
3. (a) Serve as the central point of contact between design consultants, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.
4. (b) Coordinate daily schedules with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to optimize labor productivity and resource allocation.
5. (c) Collaborate with the procurement team to verify timely delivery of standard-compliant materials.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• (a) Maintain accurate, up-to-date daily site diaries, material reconciliation logs, and worker safety records.
• (b) Draft weekly and monthly progress reports for upper management to track timelines and financial budgets.
• (c) Document and process variation orders, design change requests, and site inspection approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 15 to 20 years of proven hands‑on experience in site execution, concrete supervision, and drawing reviews on large‑scale construction projects.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi (written and verbal) to effectively coordinate with corporate management, local authorities, and on‑site labor teams.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, reading blueprint matrices, and utilizing MS Excel or project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project).
