Job summary

Adecco India is seeking a Project Manager for two positions in Guwahati and Lakhipur, Assam. The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 15-20 years on-site experience in hospital, healthcare, hotel, or institutional building projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage repair, renovation, rehabilitation, and construction activities for hospital and institutional projects.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensure progress, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and review progress against milestones.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Review and certify contractor bills and progress reports.
• Identify risks, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead project review meetings and provide progress updates to client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the execution of repair, renovation, rehabilitation, and construction activities for hospital and institutional building projects.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Review and certify contractor bills, measurements, progress reports, and variation orders.
• Identify project risks, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Lead project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to the client.
• Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities while ensuring proper documentation and reporting

Essential Candidate Requirement:

• Graduate Civil Engineer (B.E./B.Tech Civil) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of on-site experience in the construction, repair, renovation, and rehabilitation of hospital, healthcare, hotel, or institutional building projects.
• Must have successfully completed at least two projects end-to-end during their professional career.
• Strong experience in interior works and fit-outs.
• Experience in contractor management, project planning, quality control, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in renovation and rehabilitation of operational healthcare facilities will be preferred.
