Job Summary: Our client is hiring for the Projects Manager he will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring project activities from project initiation through completion. The role will ensure timely execution, quality compliance, cost control, effective coordination with clients, consultants, production, purchase, and site teams, and successful project handover.
Plan and execute projects as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, timelines, and client requirements. Prepare project schedules, execution plans, manpower requirements, and material requirements. Monitor project progress against planned schedules and take corrective action wherever required. Ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize activities based on project Requirements.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, supervisors, and installation teams for smooth execution. Monitor site readiness, measurements, material availability, installation, finishing, and rectification works. Ensure proper execution of wooden doors, engineered doors, flush doors, frames, shutters, and related products as per approved specifications. Conduct regular site visits and review project progress. Resolve site-level technical and execution issues in coordination with the concerned Departments.
Act as the primary coordination point between the company, client, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Understand client requirements, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and site conditions. Coordinate approvals for drawings, samples, mock-ups, finishes, and technical submissions. Handle client complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Design, Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Accounts, and Dispatch teams. Ensure materials are planned and available as per project schedules. Coordinate with production for project-specific manufacturing requirements. Ensure dispatches are planned according to site requirements and installation schedules. Highlight delays or constraints to management well in advance.
Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and company procedures. Coordinate with the QC team for inspections and approvals. Monitor workmanship, dimensions, alignment, finish, hardware installation, and product quality. Ensure snagging and rectification activities are completed within agreed timelines.
Maintain project schedules, progress reports, site reports, MOMs, drawings, approvals, and project records. Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports for management. Track project-wise material requirements, dispatches, installations, pending works, and completion status. Maintain records of variations, site instructions, client approvals, and project correspondence. Ensure proper project closure and handover documentation.
Plan and allocate manpower based on project requirements. Monitor the performance of site supervisors, installers, contractors, and other project personnel. Ensure contractors follow company quality, safety, discipline, and work procedures. Develop a reliable project execution and installation team.
Identify potential project risks relating to schedule, manpower, materials, quality, site readiness, and client approvals. Develop mitigation plans and elevate critical issues to management. Take timely action to avoid project delays and financial losses.
Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional project management qualifications will be an advantage. Experience 815 years of relevant experience in project execution, preferably in doors, interior fit-outs, woodworking, construction, joinery, modular projects, or building materials.
Experience in handling multiple projects and large project sites is preferred. Strong experience in client, consultant, contractor, and site coordination is essential.
