About the Role
As Project Manager, you will own the successful delivery of complex business and technical initiatives from planning through deployment. You will convert business objectives into executable plans, align cross-functional teams and vendors, and maintain control of scope, schedule, quality, dependencies, risks, and financials. Your impact will be measured through predictable delivery, transparent governance, stakeholder confidence, and solutions that achieve intended business benefits. You will work across corporate functions and global stakeholders, using established project management methodologies and mandatory tools including Microsoft Project, Project Portfolio Management systems, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Rally. The role requires strong business and technical judgment, clear communication, and the confidence to challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, and make timely decisions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery by establishing objectives, scope, schedules, governance, and success measures that keep complex initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned to business outcomes.
- Translate stakeholder needs into integrated plans, coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors, and balance resources across concurrent workstreams to protect delivery commitments.
- Maintain transparent execution control through milestone tracking, dependency management, status dashboards, scorecards, and concise updates for leadership and steering committees.
- Identify risks, issues, assumptions, and inter-project dependencies early; develop mitigation plans, drive resolution, and elevate decisions when they threaten scope, schedule, quality, or benefits.
- Own project financial governance by managing budgets, forecasts, actual spending, and variance actions so leadership can make informed investment and prioritization decisions.
- Protect solution quality by validating deliverables, coordinating testing phases, confirming acceptance criteria, and ensuring outputs meet defined business and technical requirements.
- Build trusted relationships across Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Legal, and vendor teams, strengthening collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Technology
- Mandatory hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project, Project Portfolio Management systems, Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Rally for planning, execution tracking, dependency visibility, and delivery governance.
- Mandatory expertise across Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to select and apply appropriate controls for complex technical and business initiatives.
- Strong analytical, financial, reporting, and problem-solving capability, including management reports, analyses, scorecards, dashboards, pattern identification, and concise executive presentations.
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, cross-functional stakeholders, multiple workstreams, budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, dependencies, testing, and quality assurance.
- Exceptional written, verbal, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively at every organizational level.
- Practical experience using artificial intelligence technologies and tools to automate work tasks, improve productivity, and strengthen project delivery outcomes.
Additional Plus
- Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe is highly desirable and demonstrates disciplined delivery practice.
- Experience working in a corporate environment across Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Legal, and external partners will strengthen cross-functional execution effectiveness.
