Job summary

Blue Star Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive New Product Development from concept to launch in its Kapurbawdi, Thane location. You will develop detailed project plans and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

The role requires PMP/CAPM certification and strong PM tool proficiency. The ideal candidate has 5–12 years of experience and a background in mechanical/electrical/electronics, with excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma in mechanical/electrical/electronics with 5–12 years of experience.
• PMP or CAPM certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resources using MS Project, Primavera, Zoho, Celoxis, or Jira.
• Lead New Product Development projects from concept to launch.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate regular project reviews and stakeholder communication.
• Support ISO IMS standards compliance.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations using tools like MS Project, Primavera, Zoho, Celoxis, or Jira.
• Lead and manage cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to launch.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate regular project reviews and stakeholder communication.
• Support implementation and compliance with ISO IMS standards.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project success.
• Utilize PLM systems (Windchill / Teamcenter / Dassault) for product lifecycle tracking and documentation.

Your success is grounded in

• BE / Diploma - Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics with 5-12 years experience
• Strong knowledge of Project Management Methodologies.
• PMP or CAPM certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in project management tools: MS Project, Primavera, Zoho, Celoxis, Jira.
• Experience with PLM systems: Windchill, Teamcenter, Dassault.
• Familiarity with ISO Integrated Management System (IMS) - ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proactive and self-driven with a focus on results.
