Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Shift Engineer for a Bharuch location. The role requires a BE Mechanical with minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance and project activities, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

The candidate will supervise technicians, manage daily maintenance tasks, coordinate across departments, and ensure preventive maintenance schedules, spare parts availability, and timely instrumentation/electrical procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in shift maintenance
• BE Mechanical degree required
• Experience in maintenance and project activities with safety considerations

Responsibilities

• Look after day to day Maintenance/Project activities with safety and environmental aspects.
• Guide the technician for daily routine Maintenance/Project activates.
• Analysis and action for routine troubleshooting.
• Management of ManPower according to daily work distribution.
• Training to the Technician regarding safety & Maintenance activity.
• Review and analyze the daily/routine maintenance/Utility activity.
• Ensure to follow the Preventive Maintenance/Calibration schedule and analysis for any abnormality.
• Interphase between other dept for different issues.
• Analysis of Daily Maintenance activity.
• Ensure all equipment spares procurement and availability for any maintenance activity.
• Designing and Procurement of Instrument and Electrical items.
• Ensure Utility supply to all production plants and other functions across the site.
• To manage the shift electrical and instrument related maintenance activity
