Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer for Bharuch to oversee day-to-day maintenance and project activities with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires a BE Mechanical and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in shift-based maintenance leadership, with the ability to guide technicians, manage manpower, analyse faulty issues, and coordinate with other departments to ensure reliable plant utilities and smooth production.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in shift-based maintenance/engineering.
• Experience in guiding technicians and coordinating maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Look after day to day maintenance/project activities with safety and environmental aspects.
• Guide the technician for daily routine maintenance/project activities.
• Analysis and action for routine troubleshooting.
• Management of manpower according to daily work distribution.
• Training to the technician regarding safety & maintenance activity.
• Review and analyze the daily/routine maintenance/utility activity.
• Ensure to follow the preventive maintenance/calibration schedule and analyze abnormalities.
• Interface between other departments for various issues.
• Analyze daily maintenance activity.
• Ensure spare parts procurement and availability for maintenance activities.
• Designing and procurement of instrument and electrical items.
• Ensure utility supply to all production plants and other functions across the site.
• Manage the shift electrical and instrument-related maintenance activities.
