Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Bharuch is seeking a Shift Engineer with a BE Mechanical background and at least 5 years of experience to manage day-to-day maintenance and project activities. The role requires guiding technicians, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

You will handle shift electrical/instrument maintenance, procurement of spares, and coordination with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in shift maintenance/engineering.
• BE Mechanical degree is mandatory.
• Experience in safety and environmental aspects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance and project activities with safety focus.
• Guide technicians for daily maintenance and projects.
• Analyze and act on routine troubleshooting.
• Plan manpower according to daily work distribution.
• Provide safety and maintenance training to technicians.
• Review daily maintenance and utility activities.
• Follow preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Ensure availability of spares for maintenance activities.
• Design and procure instrument and electrical items.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Look after day to day Maintenance/Project activities with safety and environmental aspects.
• Guide the technician for daily routine Maintenance/Project activates.
• Analysis and action for routine troubleshooting.
• Management of ManPower according to daily work distribution.
• Training to the Technician regarding safety & Maintenance activity.
• Review and analyze the daily/routine maintenance/Utility activity.
• Ensure to follow the Preventive Maintenance/Calibration schedule and analysis for any abnormality.
• Interphase between other dept for different issues.
• Analysis of Daily Maintenance activity.
• Ensure all equipment spares procurement and availability for any maintenance activity.
