Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager - Projects and Maintenance in Bharuch, India. The ideal candidate will have 9-14 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and continuous process projects. You will be responsible for planning and executing project completions on time and within budget, leading plant maintenance activities, and improving operational processes. This role prefers candidates with a background in the non-ferrous or ferrous chemical industry.

Qualifications

• 9-14 years of experience in setting up and executing continuous process projects.
• Experience in handling mechanical maintenance of a continuous process plant.
• Exposure to greenfield and/or brownfield projects preferred.

Must-Haves

B. Tech / M. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with prior experience in setting‑up and execution of continuous process projects and relevant experience in handling maintenance related activities for 10-15 years in any manufacturing plant.

He must have had experience in handling mechanical maintenance of a continuous process plant along with handling electrical and civil work. Exposure to handling greenfield projects and/or brownfield expansion work is preferred.

• Planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for the organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. Preparation and review of technical drawings for all project related work.
• Ordering and assist in design of process equipment/ plant and machinery
• Understanding of overall operations and processes and consequently help in Plant developmental works / modernization of plant operations and production processes
• To oversee and lead maintenance procedures and actions in the Plant. Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• To lead and plan Day to day maintenance (preventive and breakdown) activity in all plant areas.

Prior experience in non-ferrous / ferrous chemical industry preferred
