Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Dynatrace expert to lead deployments across on-premises, SaaS, and hybrid environments. You will configure OneAgent/ActiveGate, build dashboards and SLOs, and integrate with CI/CD, ITSM, and collaboration tools. Expertise with cloud platforms and container stacks is essential.

The role requires 5+ years in Dynatrace implementation, strong analytics, and relevant certifications. You will drive full-stack observability across multiple domains and report on SLA performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 9–12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Dynatrace implementation and administration.
• Dynatrace Professional Certification (DCP) or Associate Certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments is important.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Dynatrace deployments across on-premises, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Configure OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Dynatrace Managed components for observability.
• Design dashboards, SLOs, alerting rules, custom metrics, and synthetic monitors aligned to KPIs.
• Onboard and instrument applications (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, PHP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Slack, and MS Teams.
• Define full-stack observability strategies including APM, infrastructure, logs, RUM, and synthetic monitoring.
• Leverage Davis AI for automated root cause analysis and anomaly detection.
• Establish and maintain SLIs/SLOs and SLA compliance reporting.

Dynatrace Implementation & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end Dynatrace deployments — on-premises, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments — across enterprise accounts.
• Configure OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Dynatrace Managed components for comprehensive application and infrastructure observability.
• Design and implement dashboards, SLOs, alerting rules, custom metrics, and synthetic monitors aligned to business KPIs.
• Onboard and instrument applications using supported technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, PHP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, ITSM platforms (ServiceNow), and notification channels (PagerDuty, Slack, MS Teams).

Monitoring, Observability & AIOps

• Define and enforce full-stack observability strategies covering APM, infrastructure monitoring, log management, real user monitoring (RUM), and synthetic monitoring.
• Leverage Davis AI for automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and proactive problem management.
• Implement log ingestion pipelines and configure Log Monitoring v2 / OpenPipeline for structured log analytics.
• Build cloud monitoring coverage across AWS, Azure, and GCP using native Dynatrace cloud integrations.
• Establish and maintain SLIs/SLOs and support Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance reporting for critical business services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Dynatrace Platform Expertise (Mandatory)

• Deep, hands‑on expertise in Dynatrace SaaS and Managed — OneAgent, ActiveGate, SmartScape, Davis AI.
• Proficiency in DQL (Dynatrace Query Language), Grail data lakehouse, and Notebooks for advanced analytics.
• Strong understanding of Dynatrace distributed tracing (PurePath), code‑level diagnostics, and service flow mapping.
• Experience with Dynatrace Workflows, AutomationEngine, Site Reliability Guardian, and Business Analytics.
• Dynatrace Professional Certification (DCP) or Associate Certification is strongly preferred.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 9 to 12 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of dedicated Dynatrace implementation and administration experience
