Job summary

Birlasoft in Pune, India is seeking a Subcontractor to lead Dynatrace deployments across on-premises, SaaS and hybrid environments. You will configure OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Dynatrace Managed components and build dashboards, SLOs, alerts, metrics, and synthetic monitors aligned to business KPIs.

Engage with client teams to design observability frameworks, integrate with CI/CD, ITSM (ServiceNow) and alerting channels, and contribute to pre-sales and delivery with hands-on expertise in

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise in Dynatrace SaaS and Dynatrace Managed.
• Proficiency in DQL (Dynatrace Query Language) and Grail data lakehouse.
• Strong understanding of Dynatrace distributed tracing (PurePath), code-level diagnostics, and service flow mapping.
• Experience with Dynatrace Workflows, AutomationEngine, Site Reliability Guardian, and Business Analytics.
• Dynatrace Professional Certification (DCP) or Associate Certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, ITSM platforms (ServiceNow), and notification channels (PagerDuty, Slack, MS Teams).
• Engage client stakeholders to understand observability goals and present data-driven insights.
• Conduct Dynatrace product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for internal teams and clients.
• Author runbooks, SOPs, best-practice guides, and knowledge-base articles for platform operations.
• Cross-train delivery team members and elevate organizational Dynatrace capability maturity.
• Participate in incident bridges, providing expert-level triage and resolution guidance using Dynatrace telemetry data.

Dynatrace Implementation & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end Dynatrace deployments — on-premises, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments — across enterprise accounts.
• Configure OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Dynatrace Managed components for comprehensive application and infrastructure observability.
• Design and implement dashboards, SLOs, alerting rules, custom metrics, and synthetic monitors aligned to business KPIs.
• Onboard and instrument applications using supported technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, PHP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, ITSM platforms (ServiceNow), and notification channels (PagerDuty, Slack, MS Teams).

Monitoring, Observability & AIOps

• Define and enforce full-stack observability strategies covering APM, infrastructure monitoring, log management, real user monitoring (RUM), and synthetic monitoring.
• Leverage Davis AI for automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and proactive problem management.
• Implement log ingestion pipelines and configure Log Monitoring v2 / OpenPipeline for structured log analytics.
• Build cloud monitoring coverage across AWS, Azure, and GCP using native Dynatrace cloud integrations.
• Establish and maintain SLIs/SLOs and support Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance reporting for critical business services.

Architecture & Design Advisory

• Act as the primary technical SME during pre-sales, scoping, solutioning, and delivery phases of Dynatrace engagements.
• Architect scalable observability frameworks for large enterprise environments with hybrid and multi-cloud topologies.
• Provide design inputs for tag-based environment classification, management zones, and access control (RBAC) models.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and roadmap changes and advise on feature adoption strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Knowledge Management

• Engage client stakeholders — from technical teams to CXO level — to understand observability goals and present data-driven insights.
• Conduct Dynatrace product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for internal teams and clients.
