Job summary

Rarr Technologies seeks a Dynatrace Administrator to provide L2/L3 support across the Dynatrace stack in a high-availability environment. The role requires hands-on experience with Dynatrace, strong ITIL knowledge, and the Dynatrace Associate certification.

Qualifications

• Must have Dynatrace administration knowledge and hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure/ Application Monitoring.
• BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/MSc is required.
• ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2/L3 Dynatrace support and end-to-end Dynatrace implementation.
• Configure process and service detection rules and respond to incidents within SLAs.
• Provide consultation for new projects, migrations, and upgrades.
• Plan, initiate and manage special tasks/projects.
• Escalate and coordinate with Dynatrace support as needed.
• Operate in a 24/7 environment and manage team shifts.
• Perform APM related analysis for Java, .NET and PHP applications.
• Direct crisis resolution and minimize customer impact.

Job description

Dynatrace Administrator

The role holder will be responsible for providing overall L2 or L3 Dynatrace administration support for the team. Dynatrace Associate certification is Mandatory.

• BE / B. Tech / MCA / M. Tech /M.Sc. only
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Delivery of quality, cost-effective infrastructure services in a complex & high availability environment
• Proven ability to plan and execute workload in a pressurized & dynamic environment.
• ITIL Certified or a strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management disciplines

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of Dynatrace tool administration concepts.
• Experience in APM-related areas on Java, .NET and PHP
• Ability to direct and guide the team to resolve crisis situations within prescribed SLAs
• Ability to provide consultation for new projects, functionalities, migrations, upgrades.
• Ability to plan, initiate and manage special tasks/projects.

Analytical skills

• Good analytical, trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.

Process skills

• Ability to resolve service requests. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.
• Strong Knowledge of ITSM processes

Other skills

• Customer interface experience (managing expectations; negotiating compromise solutions).
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Should be willing to work in a 247 environment.
• Experience in team handling.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing L1/L2/L3 support in dynatrace all activities.
• End-to-end knowledge of Dynatrace implementation.
• At least one PoC should have hands-on experience.
• Should have strong experience in any one of the cloud implementations.
• Expertise in configuring the Process and Service detection rules.
• Easy to adapt new configurations based on the customer requirements.
• Ability to understand and map key problem areas based on the explanation given by the customer.
• Good to have dynatrace certification.
• Should have strong knowledge in all dynatrace services and functionalities.
• Expertise in problem-solving within the deadlines without impacting the customer.
• Expertise in raising support tickets and follow‑ups, and connecting with Dynatrace support people.
• Always fulfill the customer requirements.
• Articulate how APM will help the customer transform his current approach to problem‑solving.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be a team player.
• Application architecture and Business impact of downtime.
• Preparing the monthly shift roaster and managing the team members.
• Dynatrace integrations to any ITSM tool.
• Knowledge in Synthetic Monitoring Concept and implementation.
• Experience in performing application performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX commands.
