Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Postgraduate in PM/Construction Management is aPlus.
• 20+ years of experience in real estate and construction with commercial projects.
• Proven end-to-end project delivery beyond execution and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, contracts, procurement, quality, and delivery.
• Experience leading large project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.

We are looking for an experienced Project Head with strong experience in commercial real estate projects to lead and manage the complete project lifecycle, from conceptualization and planning to construction, commissioning, and final handover. The candidate will be responsible for project strategy, budgeting, design coordination, procurement, execution, quality, timelines, and overall project profitability.

The role requires strong leadership and coordination across multiple departments, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead commercial real estate projects from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and progress monitoring systems.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, cost estimation, cash flow, cost optimization, and financial performance.
• Design & Technical Coordination: Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and other technical teams.
• Commercial Project Development: Manage projects such as commercial buildings, office spaces, IT parks, retail developments, and mixed-use developments.
• Procurement & Contract Management: Oversee tendering, contractor selection, vendor negotiations, work orders, and contract administration.
• Construction & Quality Management: Monitor construction progress, quality standards, safety practices, and compliance with approved specifications.
• Approvals & Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely statutory approvals, building permissions, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Sales, CRM, and other internal departments.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, resolve technical and operational challenges, and implement corrective measures.
• Team Leadership: Lead project managers, planning engineers, site teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Management Reporting: Present regular updates on project progress, budgets, risks, timelines, and key milestones to senior management.
• Project Handover: Ensure timely commissioning, documentation, snag resolution, and final handover.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Construction Management will be an advantage.
• 20+ years of experience in real estate and construction, with substantial experience managing commercial real estate projects.
• Proven experience in handling projects end-to-end, beyond construction execution and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, design management, contracts, procurement, quality control, and project delivery.
• Experience in managing large project teams, consultants, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Excel will be preferred.
