Job summary

ITC requires an Electrical Site Engineer to oversee domain engineering on industrial projects in Pune district. You will review drawings, monitor contractors, coordinate with architects, and manage BOQs, tenders, and payments while ensuring QA/QC and safety on site.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years’ experience in FMCG, warehouse or manufacturing environments, with strong knowledge of power distribution, transformers and DG systems. Full-time role based on-site in the Pune area.

Qualifications

• Requires B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with relevant field experience.
• Experience in industrial projects such as FMCG, warehouse or manufacturing units.
• Knowledge of power distribution, transformers and DG systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure availability of correct drawings and specs with the contractor.
• Monitor delivery and work quality of consultants and PMCs; drive efficiency and corrective actions.
• Responsible for day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan.
• Review weekly and monthly reports; elevate issues and drive actions.
• Coordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layouts and drawings.
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/civil/electrical).
• Evaluate BOQ/tender drawings submitted by consultants.
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages.
• Forecast the workload and plan cash flows accordingly.
• Collaborate with Contracts & Purchase for BOQs, tenders and contracts.
• Monitor milestones against project plan.
• Review and approve first-level sign-offs on measurement sheets and payments.
• Ensure QA/QC processes on site and assist in quality and safety audits.
• Ensure adherence to systems and processes as required by the organization.

Role & responsibilities

• Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specification with the contractor
• Monitor the delivery and work quality of consultants, PMCs. Drive efficiency, review periodically, elevate issues and ensure corrective actions
• Responsible for day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan
• Review weekly & monthly reports of package assigned, elevate issues and drive corrective actions
• Co-ordinate with architects / consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/ civil / electrical domain)
• Evaluate BOQ / tender drawings submitted by consultants
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages
• Forecast the amount of work to be executed and hence plan the cash flows
• Collaborate and co-ordinate with Contracts & Purchase Team for BOQs, tenders and contracts related issue
• Monitor milestones against project plan
• Review and approve first-level sign off on the measurement sheets, payments
• Ensure implementation of construction QA/ QC processes
• Assist in quality & safety audits at sites
• Ensure adherence to all systems & processes as required by the Organization

Preferred candidate profile

• Full-Time B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from an institute/University recognized by UGC / AICTE
• 8 - 12 years of hands-on experience in site execution profile of industrial projects like FMCG, Warehouse, Manufacturing Unit.
• Knowledge of Power Distribution (HT / LT Panels, Cabling), Transformers, Motors and DG, switch yard
• Project engineering & management techniques
• Broad knowledge of design parameters
