Job summary

ITC is seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager to lead site execution for large construction and industrial projects. You will coordinate with architects, consultants and the Contracts & Purchase teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings, BOQs and contracts.

You will oversee planning, monitoring, QA/QC, safety audits and compliance, drive efficiencies, review reports, and manage budgets and payments on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of hands-on experience in site execution profile.
• Ideal candidate would have construction/industrial projects experience with preference from building construction like Interior Fit Out, Factories, warehouse, Manufacturing Unit, hotels, real estate and health care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings.
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/ civil / electrical domain).
• Evaluate BOQ / tender drawings submitted by consultants.
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages.
• Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specification with the contractor.
• Monitor the delivery and work quality of consultants, PMCs; drive efficiency and corrective actions.
• Responsible for day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan.
• Review weekly & monthly reports of package assigned, elevate issues and drive corrective actions.
• Forecast the amount of work to be executed and plan cash flows.
• Collaborate with Contracts & Purchase Team for BOQs, tenders and contracts.
• Awareness of quantity surveying and cost estimation.
• Monitor milestones against project plan.
• Review and approve first-level sign off on measurement sheets, payments.
• Ensure implementation of construction QA/ QC processes.
• Assist in quality & safety audits at sites.
• Ensure adherence to all systems & processes as required by the Organisation.

Role & responsibilities

Project Planning

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from an institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE
• 15-20 years of hands-on experience in site execution profile
• Ideal candidate would have construction/ industrial projects experience with preference from - building construction like Interior Fit Out, Factories, warehouse, Manufacturing Unit, hotels, real estate and health care.
• Candidate should have completed at least one significant project as a lead/ support MEP resource from start to end.
• Project engineering & management techniques Planning & co-ordination skills
• Expertise in Digital tools including -BIM 3D, DFMA
• Awareness on sustainable construction practices
• Quality, safety relevant codes (IS) and standards applicable to the following: -Excavation, backfilling, RCC Works, Steel works, pre-fab construction, civil finishes, industrial floor.
• Broad knowledge of design parameters. Preparation & use of bar bending schedule
• Basic understanding of cost & quantity estimation, safety practices
