Greythr seeks a qualified Project Engineer to lead engineering projects from planning through execution and commissioning. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality and technical standards.

The candidate will review specifications, drawings, and scope of work, coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors, monitor progress and resources, and supervise on-site activities, testing, and commissioning.

Formación

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical/infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Review specifications, drawings, BOQs, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, schedule, manpower, and materials.
• Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare schedules and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely material availability.
• Attend site meetings and report status to management.
• Support cost control, billing, and quantity verification.
• Ensure proper handover of completed projects with documentation.
• Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to manage and coordinate engineering projects from planning through execution and commissioning. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to required quality and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, technical documents, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress, schedule, manpower, materials, and resources.
• Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, inspection reports, and other documentation.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability of project materials.
• Review contractor/vendor work and verify compliance with approved technical requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular project status updates to management.
• Support project cost control, billing, measurements, and quantity verification.
• Ensure proper handover of completed projects, including drawings, test reports, and commissioning documents.
• Maintain compliance with applicable electrical, statutory, and safety standards.

Required Skills

• Strong project execution and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in site supervision and project management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and vendors.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project/Primavera is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in electrical/infrastructure/industrial projects.
• Knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, MCC/PCC, cables, earthing, DG, UPS, and related electrical systems.
• Experience in testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with applicable IS/IEC standards and safety practices.
