Job summary

Ample Solar Private Limited in Gujarat is seeking a Project Engineer to own the end-to-end execution of commercial solar projects from post-sales handover through planning, installation, testing and commissioning.

The role requires close coordination with engineering, procurement, dispatch, installation, electrical and customer teams to ensure projects are executed systematically, on schedule and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Solar EPC/Project Execution.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical installation.
• Experience coordinating installation teams, contractors, vendors and multiple internal departments.
• Proficient in project planning, material coordination and site execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects against tight timelines.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and project tracking tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of commercial solar projects from handover to commissioning.
• Develop execution schedules covering engineering, material readiness, dispatch, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with Design, Liaisoning, Procurement, Stores, Dispatch and Installation teams.
• Plan deployment of installation teams based on project needs and schedules.
• Monitor progress against milestones and ensure timely completion.
• Identify constraints and delays early and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers, site representatives, vendors and contractors.
• Ensure work follows drawings, specs, safety and quality requirements.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, statutory/DISCOM activities and final handover.
• Maintain project status, records and timely reporting to management.

The role involves close coordination with engineering, procurement, dispatch, installation, electrical and customer teams to ensure that projects are executedsystematically, within the committed schedule, and as per the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership ofend to end execution of commercial solar projectsfrom sales handover to commissioning.
• Develop project execution schedules coveringengineering, material readiness, dispatch, site installation, electrical works, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with Design, Liaisoning team, Procurement, Stores, Dispatch and Installation teams to ensure timely availability of resources and materials.
• Plan and coordinate deployment of installation teams based on project requirements and execution schedules.
• Monitor project progress against planned milestones and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Identify project constraints, site issues, and potential delays in advance and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers, site representatives, vendors, and contractors for smooth project execution.
• Ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety and quality requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, statutory/DISCOM activities wherever applicable, and final project handover.
• Maintain project status, execution records, and timely reporting to the management.

Candidate Profile

• 3–4 years of experience inSolar EPC/Project Execution, preferably handling commercial or industrial rooftop projects.
• Strong understanding ofsolar PV systems, electrical installation, and project execution.
• Experience in coordinating installation teams, contractors, vendors and multiple internal departments.
• Good knowledge of project planning, material coordination, and site execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work towards strict project timelines.
• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking/reporting tools will be an advantage.
