The role requires 18+ years in Wind Power Project Execution, 10+ years in leadership, and a mechanical/electrical/civil engineering background (MBA preferred).

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in Wind Power Project Execution / EPC Projects.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing large or multi-project portfolios.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of Wind EPC projects from site mobilization to handover.
• Drive schedules, milestones, resource planning, and ensure quality and contractual compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Construction and O&M teams for seamless delivery.
• Provide leadership across BoP, erection, commissioning, and risk mitigation.
• Champion zero LTIs and safety, environmental compliance across sites.

As we continue to expand our renewable energy footprint, we are looking for an accomplished Project Director - Wind EPC to lead the execution of large-scale wind energy projects and drive operational excellence across multiple project locations. This role will serve as a key execution leader, working closely with the Director to transform strategic objectives into on-ground project success while ensuring predictable delivery across the IPP portfolio.

Location: Pune/Pan India

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end execution of Wind EPC projects from site mobilization, erection, commissioning, and final handover.
• Drive project schedules, milestone achievement, resource planning, and execution strategies while maintaining strict compliance with contractual commitments and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Construction, and O&M teams to ensure seamless project delivery and timely availability of resources.
• Provide leadership across Civil BoP, Electrical BoP, Mechanical Erection, Electrical Works, and Commissioning activities while proactively mitigating project risks.
• Champion a culture of Zero LTI (Lost Time Injury), safety excellence, quality assurance, and environmental compliance across all project sites.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, including DISCOMs, SLDC, CEIG, regulatory authorities, contractors, and clients to ensure timely approvals and grid connectivity.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flows, cost optimization initiatives, and commercial performance to protect project margins and support business growth.

Who We're Looking For:

• 18+ years of experience in Wind Power Project Execution / EPC Projects.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing large, complex, or multi-project portfolios.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (MBA preferred).
• Strong expertise in Wind EPC lifecycle management, WTG erection, BoP execution, project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera), stakeholder management, and regulatory processes.
