Job summary

Windtech Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our India team. You will oversee the complete project cycle from RFP assessment, proposal development, client negotiations and finalisation of the work order, ensuring delivery excellence.

You will manage multiple wind engineering projects, coordinate with developers, architects and structural consultants, and lead technical presentations while building strong client relationships for repeat engagements.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Wind Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in wind engineering, particularly in wind effects on buildings, facades and structures.
• Strong written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Familiarity with wind tunnel testing, CFD and wind loading standards would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical client facing or client liaison / project management roles.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, drawings and project requirements to identify the appropriate wind engineering scope.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including methodology, fees, timelines, assumptions and exclusions.
• Lead technical presentations and discussions with developers, architects, structural consultants and other stakeholders.
• Manage client queries and proposal follow-ups, maintaining clear communication throughout the pre-award process.
• Negotiate scope, fees, timelines and payment terms in coordination with management and the contracts team.
• Review work orders against agreed proposals, coordinate the resolution of departures and progress contracts to signing.
• Ensure a smooth handover to project delivery teams and build strong relationships that support repeat business.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our India team. The role requires a technically strong engineering professional with experience in wind engineering who can manage the complete project cycle from initial RFP review and proposal preparation through client discussions, negotiations, and finalisation of the work order.
