Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited in India is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Wind Energy to lead end-to-end wind power project execution, from planning to handover.

You will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning while managing safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements. The role demands 8–12 years of wind energy experience and strong stakeholder management across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is an advantage.
• 8–12 years of relevant project management experience in wind energy.
• Strong experience in utility-scale wind project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of wind energy projects from initiation through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and monitor detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, logistics, quality, HSE, finance, and operations teams.
• Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Coordinate wind turbine supply, transportation, erection, civil works, electrical works, and balance-of-plant activities.
• Ensure timely availability of project materials, equipment, manpower, and resources.
• Review and monitor engineering deliverables, drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, statutory requirements, environmental regulations, and HSE policies.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare MIS/progress reports for senior management.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, change orders, claims, variations, and contractor payments.
• Coordinate with government authorities, landowners, utilities, grid agencies, and other relevant stakeholders as required.
• Ensure quality control throughout construction and installation activities.
• Lead project commissioning, performance testing, punch-point closure, documentation, and final handover.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned across projects.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Wind Energy to lead the end-to-end execution of wind power projects. The role will be responsible for project planning, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, stakeholder management, cost control, and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing utility-scale wind projects and the ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
