Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Wind Energy to lead the end-to-end execution of wind power projects. The role will be responsible for project planning, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, stakeholder management, cost control, and timely project delivery.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing utility-scale wind projects and the ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete lifecycle of wind energy projects from project initiation through commissioning and handover.
- Develop and monitor detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, logistics, quality, HSE, finance, and operations teams.
- Manage project contractors, EPC partners, OEMs, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- Coordinate wind turbine supply, transportation, erection, civil works, electrical works, and balance-of-plant activities.
- Ensure timely availability of project materials, equipment, manpower, and resources.
- Review and monitor engineering deliverables, drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, statutory requirements, environmental regulations, and HSE policies.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare MIS/progress reports for senior management.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, change orders, claims, variations, and contractor payments.
- Coordinate with government authorities, landowners, utilities, grid agencies, and other relevant stakeholders as required.
- Ensure quality control throughout construction and installation activities.
- Lead project commissioning, performance testing, punch-point closure, documentation, and final handover.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned across projects.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
- A postgraduate qualification in Project Management or a related field will be an advantage.
- 8–12 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the wind energy sector.
- Strong experience in utility-scale wind project execution.
