Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 100 MW Wind Power Project in Bhuj, Gujarat. You will oversee site management, execution, coordination, monitoring and successful delivery within schedule, budget, quality and safety standards.

The role requires a strong leader with extensive wind project experience, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead EPC contractors, turbine suppliers, consultants and transmission contractors through all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical engineering.
• Master's degree or PMP/PM certification is advantageous.
• 15+ years in power, infra, or renewable energy projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 100 MW Wind Power Project in Bhuj, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for overall site management, execution, coordination, monitoring, and successful delivery of the project within the planned schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards. The position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in wind power project execution and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• The Project Manager will lead all site construction and execution activities, ensuring timely completion of project milestones while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The role includes coordinating with EPC contractors, turbine suppliers, consultants, transmission contractors, and other stakeholders; monitoring project schedules and resource utilization; conducting regular review meetings; managing project risks and critical issues; ensuring effective contractor performance; overseeing civil, electrical, and mechanical works; tracking project progress against plans; and providing regular reports and updates to senior management. The incumbent will also be responsible for budget monitoring, statutory compliance, site safety management, and successful project commissioning and handover.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Mechanical.
• Master's Degree or Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 15+ years of overall experience in power, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wind power project execution and site management.
