Job summary

Blinx is seeking a design-oriented professional to craft smart building solutions for premium projects. This in-office role focuses on solution design, project planning, technical coordination, and client discussions during design and proposal stages.

The ideal candidate has a background in Architecture/Interior/Lighting or Electrical Engineering, with 3+ years of experience in large-scale projects, and strong design sensibility.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architecture, lighting design, and project design for large-scale projects.
• Strong design sensibility and interest in technology-driven spaces
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp, Revit, or DIALux is a plus
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills

Responsibilities

• Study architectural and interior drawings to understand spaces and user requirements
• Design automation and architectural lighting solutions, including device layouts, control zoning, and scene planning.
• Prepare lighting layouts and fixture schedules
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and contractors.
• Present solutions to clients in clear, lifestyle-focused terms
• Support proposals with drawings, BOQs, and design documentation
• Hand over designs to the execution team and resolve design queries

This is not a conventional architecture or interior design role. You will design intelligent spaces where technology, automation, aesthetics, lighting, acoustics, and user experience come together seamlessly.
