Job summary

Talent Craft Mumbai is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator (Mechanical Engineer) to manage planning and execution across mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines.

The role involves reviewing drawings and BOQs, coordinating with engineering teams, monitoring progress, and delivering regular status reports to senior management. Based in Anantapur/Hyderabad, travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and project execution.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Civil engineering activities and interfaces.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel; familiarity with MS Project/Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project activities from planning through execution.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering teams.
• Review project requirements, drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and execution plans.
• Ensure smooth coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities to avoid interface issues and ensure timely execution.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and follow up on action points.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required for project execution.
• Ensure project activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and execution challenges and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly project progress reports.
• Provide regular project status updates and appraisals to Project Owners and senior management.
• Coordinate with Project Owners, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support cost, schedule, quality, and resource monitoring throughout project execution.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
• Support commissioning, completion, handover, and project closure activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable technical standards.

• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel; knowledge of project planning software such as MS Project/Primavera will be an advantage.
