Seating World is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender support for construction projects.

You will take-off quantities from drawings, use AutoCAD/PlanSwift/Excel to measure, and prepare contractor bills and invoices. You will monitor design changes and coordinate with engineers, architects and project managers to ensure accurate quantities and timely delivery.

Responsabilités

Job Description -

1. Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

• Measure quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed BOQ for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ensure BOQ follows project standards and tender requirements.

2. Cost Estimation

• Estimate project costs based on BOQ quantities.
• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Prepare cost comparisons and budget reports.

3. Tendering Support

• Assist in preparing tender documents.
• Evaluate contractor quotations.
• Compare bids and prepare analysis reports.

4. Quantity Take-off

• Calculate quantities from architectural and structural drawings.
• Use software like AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, or PlanSwift for measurements.

5. Billing & Documentation

• Prepare contractor bills and client invoices.
• Track project quantities and variations.
• Maintain BOQ records and documentation.

6. Variation & Change Management

• Monitor changes in scope.
• Update BOQ when design changes occur.
• Prepare variation orders.

7. Coordination

• Work with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Ensure quantities match site progress.
