Job summary

HP Valves & Fittings India is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee orders from receipt through delivery. You will liaise across Sales, Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores and Dispatch to ensure on-time project execution and proper documentation.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders and drawings, maintaining schedules, tracking materials and progress, and communicating with customers for clarifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in instrumentation valves and fittings, industrial valves, or process instrumentation.
• Experience handling industrial/manufacturing projects, customer orders, production coordination, and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores and Dispatch teams.

• Prepare and maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Monitor progress and follow up with departments for timely completion.
• Track material availability, production status, inspection, testing, documentation, and dispatch.
• Coordinate with customers for clarifications and requirements.
• Maintain project records, trackers and documentation.
• Escalate delays to the Project Manager.
• Ensure delivery commitments and dispatch as per schedule.
• Conduct regular project status reviews and provide updates.
• Coordinate closure of pending documents and customer requirements after delivery.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and monitor project activities from order receipt to final delivery, ensuring timely execution, proper communication between departments, and completion of projects as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from order receipt to project completion.


• Review customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.


• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.


• Prepare and maintain project schedules, timelines, and action plans.


• Monitor project progress and follow up with concerned departments for timely completion.


• Track material availability, production status, inspection, testing, documentation, and dispatch.


• Coordinate with customers for project-related clarifications, documents, and requirements.


• Maintain project-wise records, trackers, and documentation.


• Identify delays, pending activities, and potential project issues and escalates them to the Project Manager.


• Ensure customer-specific requirements are communicated to the relevant departments.


• Coordinate inspection, testing, and quality documentation as required.


• Follow up on delivery commitments and ensure dispatch as per agreed schedule.


• Conduct regular project status reviews and provide progress updates to management.


• Coordinate closure of pending project documents and customer requirements after delivery.


• Ensure all project activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in Instrumentation Valves & Fittings, Industrial Valves, Process Instrumentation, or Engineering Manufacturing industries are preferred.


• Candidates with experience handling industrial/manufacturing projects, customer orders, production coordination, and project documentation will be given preference.


• Experience in coordinating with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams is preferred.


• Familiarity with valve and fitting products, engineering drawings, BOM, inspection/testing, and manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.


• Candidates from Valve & Fittings / Instrumentation / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Process Equipment / General Engineering Manufacturing industries may be considered.
