Job summary

Amazon Bengaluru is seeking an L5 Program Manager to strategically plan, lead, and execute multiple medium-scale programs across the fast delivery network, driving operational excellence and customer experience.

You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement and product teams, manage end-to-end delivery, track KPIs, and present updates to senior leadership. Flexible schedule and cross-functional collaboration expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle activities for 2-3 medium-sized programs from conception to implementation.
• Develop and execute project plans, securing resources and cross-functional coordination.
• Track tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and milestones with stakeholders.
• Provide fortnightly status updates to leadership on progress and readiness.
• Launch and scale programs while using data and metrics to drive improvements.

The L5 Program Manager at Amazon SSD network is responsible for strategically planning, leading, and executing small to medium-scale projects and programs that drive operational excellence across Amazon's fast delivery network. This role focuses on managing selections, scaling initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution of key programs that impact customer experience, speed and operational efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
Program Execution & Delivery
Own and manage lifecycle activities for 2-3 medium-sized programs simultaneously, driving end-to-end delivery from conception to implementation
Develop and execute project plans, securing resources and managing implementation across cross-functional teams
Track tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and milestones through regular status checks with stakeholders
Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize timelines and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, product teams and other cross-functional teams to align on program objectives
Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to all stakeholders
Provide fortnightly status updates to leadership on program progress, team readiness, challenges, and support requirements
Influence without authority by building trust and consensus across multiple teams.
Use data and metrics to drive improvements and measure program success
Conduct deep dives into operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Create executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership
Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to program objectives

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
