Job description

Designation: Program Manager
About Sova Health

Sova Health is a digital gut health company delivering evidence-based nutrition programs alongside SovaX, our personalized probiotic solution. Our mission is to improve clinical outcomes while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Role Summary

This role exists to answer three questions with confidence, every month: How many people are completing the program? How many of those who complete it are actually getting better? And where and why are people dropping out along the way?

The Program Manager owns these three numbers end-to-end — the data sources behind them, the definitions used to calculate them, and the monthly reporting that leadership relies on. Everything else in this role — cross-functional coordination, dashboards, process fixes — exists in service of getting these three numbers right and improving them.

Key Responsibilities

Pillar 1: Program Completion Rate

  • Own the month-on-month % of people completing the nutrition program, consolidating data from the renewal sheet, overall program tracker, and any other relevant system of record.
  • Reconcile discrepancies across data sources (e.g., renewal sheet vs. program tracker) so a single, trusted completion number is reported each month.
  • Define — and keep consistent — what counts as “completed” vs. “in-progress” vs. “dropped,” so the metric is comparable month over month.
  • Break completion down by cohort/batch where useful, to spot patterns rather than just a single headline number.
Pillar 2: Clinical Efficacy
  • Track, of the people who completed the program, what % achieved a clinically significant outcome — not just self-reported improvement.
  • Work with the clinical team to define “significant outcome” in defensible, consistent terms, and apply that definition uniformly across cohorts.
  • Monitor efficacy specifically for SovaX (personalised probiotics) as part of the same review, since it is a core part of the program's clinical impact.
  • Flag cohorts, segments, or conditions where efficacy is falling short, and work with Clinical/Product to understand why.
Pillar 3: Dropout Monitoring
  • Own the dropout-calculation methodology: total % enrolled, total % completed, and total % dropped out, tracked monthly and consistent with the completion metric above.
  • Identify at what stage of the program clients tend to drop off, and the likely reasons (clinical, service, engagement, etc.).
  • Where possible, flag at-risk clients before they drop out rather than only measuring dropout after the fact.
  • Feed dropout patterns back to coaching/operations so corrective action can be taken on the ground, not just reported on.
In support of the above
  • Maintain data integrity across the renewal sheet, program tracker, and any other source feeding these three metrics, so numbers are auditable and trusted.
  • Publish one consolidated monthly report covering completion, efficacy, and dropout — with trend commentary, not just raw figures.
  • Coordinate with Clinical, Coaching, Product, Operations, and Data teams only as needed to investigate or act on findings in the three areas above — this role is not a general cross-functional liaison.
  • Present monthly findings to Max and recommend action where completion, efficacy, or dropout is off track.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Completion: % Completed – Increase, month on month, reconciled across renewal sheet and program data.
  • Efficacy: % Clinically Improved (of completions) – Sustained or improved rate, using a consistent, clinically agreed definition.
  • Dropout: % Dropped Out – Reduction, month on month, with root causes identified and acted on.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Clinical Research or a related healthcare field.
  • 3-6+ years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare analytics, or clinical program management.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or building metrics for completion, efficacy, or retention in a health/wellness setting.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable reconciling multiple data sources (e.g., renewal sheet vs. program tracker) into one trusted number.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with BI/dashboarding tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills for concise, monthly reporting to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a digital health, D2C health, or wellness-tech environment.
  • Familiarity with personalised nutrition or probiotic/microbiome-based interventions.
  • Experience running or contributing to retention/dropout-reduction initiatives.
Reporting Structure & Work Details
  • Reports To: CSO, Co-founder, Max Kushnir
  • Location: Sova Health, Gurgaon (On-site)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, 5 days a week, on-site
