• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• MBA/Master's degree will be an added advantage.
• 12-17 years of relevant experience in project/program management with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Space, Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Telecom or other technology-driven industries preferred.
• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution and closure.
• Experience in working with senior management and external customers/stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multiple, interrelated projects/programs aligned with business and customer objectives.
• Define program objectives, scope, milestones, schedules, budgets and key deliverables.
• Establish program governance, review mechanisms and execution plans.
• Monitor overall program progress and ensure timely achievement of critical milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance.
• Drive accountability, collaboration and timely decision-making across stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide project/program management teams to strengthen execution capabilities.
• Act as a key interface for customers and senior internal stakeholders; manage reviews and risks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate program risks and issues; manage dependencies and scope changes.
• Develop and monitor program budgets; optimize costs and resource planning.
• Provide governance dashboards and regular status reporting; drive continuous improvement.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead and drive complex, cross

functional programs from initiation through successful execution and closure.

The role will be responsible for translating business and customer requirements into executable

program plans, driving alignment across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality,

Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders, and ensuring programs are delivered within

agreed scope, cost, schedule, quality and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong program governance, strategic thinking, stakeholder

management and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple interconnected

projects and influence teams in a matrix environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multiple, interrelated projects/programs

aligned with business and customer objectives.

• Define program objectives, scope, milestones, schedules, budgets and key deliverables.
• Establish program governance, review mechanisms and execution plans.
• Monitor overall program progress and ensure timely achievement of critical milestones.
• Identify project interdependencies and proactively resolve execution bottlenecks.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing,

Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and other relevant functions.

• Provide direction and support to Project Managers and functional teams.
• Drive accountability, collaboration and timely decision-making across stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide project/program management teams to strengthen execution capabilities.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key interface for customers and senior internal stakeholders.
• Drive periodic program reviews and communicate program status, achievements, risks and key decisions.

• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer and business-critical issues.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Identify, assess and proactively mitigate program-level risks and issues.
• Maintain effective risk and issue management mechanisms with clear ownership and mitigation plans.

• Manage program dependencies, scope changes and their impact on cost, schedule and resources.

• Escalate critical risks with appropriate recovery plans and recommendations.

Financial & Resource Management

• Develop and monitor program budgets in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure effective utilisation and allocation of manpower, resources and budgets.
• Monitor program costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Support manpower and resource planning in line with program requirements.

Performance Monitoring & Governance

• Establish and track key program metrics and KPIs covering cost, schedule, quality, resources and delivery.

• Prepare and present periodic program dashboards and management reports.
• Analyse program performance and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure effective governance and timely escalation of critical matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in program execution and management processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
