Job summary

Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Program/Project Manager to drive end-to-end execution of Li-Ion battery pack programs. You will work under the PMO, coordinating with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure timely, within-scope deliveries.

The role demands strong planning, communication and presentation skills, with 10–14 years of experience in program management in the manufacturing/EV space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
• 10–14 years of experience in Program or Project Management.
• Preferred specializations: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics engineering.
• Industry sectors: Manufacturing, Automotive/EV, energy storage/battery.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program execution within defined timelines, scope and budget.
• Coordinate with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and escalate critical issues to senior leadership when needed.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations and Sales to align program objectives and customer requirements.
• Engage suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Roles and Responsibility:

Program Execution & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end program execution, ensuring adherence to defined timelines, scope, and budget.
• Work closely with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of Li-Ion battery pack programs.
• Track program progress, resolve bottlenecks, and escape critical issues to senior leadership when required.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Operations, and Sales teams, to align program objectives.
• Ensure seamless coordination between different departments to meet customer and business requirements.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business functions to streamline workflows.
• Engage with customers for program updates, requirement gathering, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Support Sales teams in customer interactions related to program commitments.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure program stability.
• Troubleshoot program challenges and work on corrective actions.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure programs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal Quality Processes.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk registers, and status updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering

Preferred specializations: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics.

• 10 - 14 years of experience in Program or Project Management

Industry preference:
