Job summary

Sarvottam Polymers in Dadra & Nagar Haveli seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily ISBM operations in plastic packaging. You will supervise production activities, monitor machine performance, ensure safety and quality adherence, and coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch to meet targets.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ISBM experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in ERP and MS Office to support production planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in ISBM operations in plastic packaging.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards applicable to manufacturing.
• Experience in manpower planning, shift management and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve targets while maintaining quality.
• Monitor machine performance, production output and manpower utilization.
• Coordinate with PPC for timely execution of production plans.
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions and customer specs are followed.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch teams.
• Monitor downtime and work with Maintenance for quick resolution.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials and consumables.
• Prepare and maintain daily production, shift, rejection and downtime reports.
• Train operators on safe operating procedures and best practices.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping and company policies.
• Oversee ISBM operations and maintain production discipline on the shop floor.

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance, production output, and manpower utilization.
• Ensure adherence to production plans and coordinate with PPC for timely execution.
• Maintain product quality by ensuring compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Monitor machine downtime and coordinate with the Maintenance team for quick resolution.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production consumables.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports, shift reports, rejection reports, and downtime records.
• Train and guide operators and production staff on safe operating procedures and best manufacturing practices.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and company policies

Preferred candidate profile

• experience as a Production Supervisor in the plastic packaging, EBM industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and machine operations.
