Job summary

BD Industries in Hoshiarpur is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our plant. You will ensure smooth production flow, meet targets, maintain quality, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, planning, and safety teams.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with 1–3 years of supervision experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with MS Excel or ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing/production supervision (automotive/plastics a plus).
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and shop floor management.
• Leadership and team handling skills.
• Basic MS Excel / ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
• Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
• Ensure production targets are met as per schedule and planning.
• Monitor machine performance, manpower utilization, and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain product quality as per company standards and specifications.
