Continental in India seeks a Production Shift Engineer to oversee daily operations in the mixing area, ensuring targets, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are met during the shift.

The role focuses on maintaining production schedules, coordinating with operators and technicians, leading breakdowns and troubleshooting, conducting root-cause analyses, and driving KPI achievement and continuous improvements across the shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech/B.Sc./BCA).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Mixing area.
• Knowledge of safety standards and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in the shift.
• Ensure production schedule and target completion in the shift with control on safety & quality.
• Lead breakdown activities, perform troubleshooting on equipment & coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with operators, technicians, and cross-functional teams for better output from the equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis & implement improvements for efficiency.
• Ensure all plant KPIs are achieved in the shift.
• Maintain harmonious relations among stakeholders.

His key responsibilities are :

• Ensuring safe work environment in his shift.
• Ensuring production schedule and target completion in his shift with control on safety & quality.
• Lead breakdown activities, perform troubleshooting on equipment & coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensuring good co-ordination with operators, technicians, cross-functional team for better output from the equipment's.
• Conducting CBT-01 along with all operators, technicians to communicate f/ups and related information.
• identifying bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis & implement improvements for efficiency.
• Ensuring all plant KPI's achievement as per target in his shift.
• Ensuring harmonious relation among all stakeholders.

Additional Information

Minimum 5 years experience in Mixing area.

Qualifications

Bachlor Degree ( B.Tech/B.Sc./BCA).
