Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for end-to-end production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirement planning (MRP) to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time customer deliveries for inter-company order fulfillment.
Work You’ll Do:
- Production Planning & Scheduling – Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure optimum utilization of resources and on-time order fulfillment.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP) – Plan and monitor material requirements to ensure timely availability of components while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Capacity Planning – Analyze production capacity, machine loading, and resource availability to balance demand with manufacturing capabilities.
- Advanced Excel and Data Analysis & English Proficiency – Utilize advanced Excel tools and data analysis techniques to generate insights, reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills – Identify operational challenges, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve planning performance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination and Communication – Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Project and Time Management Skills – Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate Order Receipt, Planning, Production, Dispatch, and Delivery Tracking for Inter-Company Transactions – Manage end-to-end inter-company order execution from order receipt through production, dispatch, and delivery confirmation.
- Monitor Inter-Company Demand Forecasts and Ensure Timely Fulfillment – Review demand forecasts regularly and align production plans to meet inter-company requirements on schedule.
- Track and Report Inter-Company Service Levels and Delivery Performance – Measure, analyze, and report delivery performance KPIs and service levels to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Overview of team this role will be a part of Production Planning based at Ahmedabad.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related field.
3-8 years of experience in Production Planning, PPC, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Planning.
Experience in inter-company business management and multi-plant planning preferred.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or equivalent.
