Job summary

Evitar Systems in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Production Planner to organize multi-stage production schedules across machining, engraving, inspection, coating, finishing and sub-assembly. You will coordinate in-house and outsourced processes to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.

You will monitor capacity, cycle times, bottlenecks and dispatch timelines, update ERP-based production/work orders, and prepare MIS reports and dashboards to track progress.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Production Planning, PPC, or Production Control in manufacturing/precision engineering.
• Hands-on experience in multi-stage production planning and scheduling.
• Good understanding of machine capacity, cycle times, sequencing, and bottlenecks.
• Experience with CNC/VMC machining or precision processes preferred.
• Experience coordinating in-house and outsourced manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of ERP, MS Excel, MIS reporting, and Gantt-based planning tools.
• Understanding material planning, inventory coordination, vendor follow-ups, and dispatch planning.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with production, quality, purchase, stores, and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple schedules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Maintain and update ERP-based production/work orders with accurate planning data.
• Prepare MIS reports, production planning reports, and dashboards to track schedule adherence and status.
• Support capacity planning and resource allocation based on production requirements and capacity.
• Coordinate with internal teams to move components between production stages smoothly.
• Identify production constraints, delays, and bottlenecks and support corrective actions.
• Maintain Gantt-based production plans and update schedules based on actual progress.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and external vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and completion of outsourced processes.
• Track work orders, production progress, pending operations, and dispatch schedules and follow up on delays.
• Maintain and update ERP-based production/work orders and ensure planning data is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare MIS reports, production planning reports, and dashboards to track schedule adherence and production status.
• Support capacity planning and resource allocation based on production requirements and available machine capacity.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth movement of components between different stages of production.
• Assist in identifying production constraints, process delays, and capacity bottlenecks and support corrective actions.
• Maintain Gantt-based production plans and regularly update schedules based on actual production progress.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Production Planning, PPC, or Production Control within a manufacturing/precision engineering environment.
