Job summary

EVITAR SYSTEMS in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to lead production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain coordination across a multi-stage manufacturing environment.

You will oversee both in-house and outsourced processes, manage a team of planning engineers, and ensure dispatch commitments are met while maintaining ERP work orders and MIS dashboards. Strong communication with customers and sales is essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of production planning experience in manufacturing/precision engineering.
• Proven ability to plan multi-stage, multi-component schedules with parallel operations.
• Strong supply chain management experience including vendor coordination and material planning.
• Hands-on with ERP systems, MS Excel/Power BI, and Gantt-based planning tools.

• Identify and resolve capacity bottlenecks using scheduling tools.

• Act as technical point of contact for customers/sales on delivery timelines.

EVITAR SYSTEMS is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to lead production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain coordination across a complex, multi-stage manufacturing environment — parallel in-house operations, outsourced processes, batch-based coating/finishing, and multiple sub-assembly streams that must stay synchronized to meet dispatch commitments. The role also requires leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain multi-stage production schedules across parallel operations (machining, engraving, inspection, coating, finishing) for multiple product lines.
• Sequence work across in-house and outsourced processes, managing handoffs and batchconstrained steps (fixed batch sizes/cycle times, queues, wait times).
• Identify and resolve capacity bottlenecks (machine capacity, batch throughput, upstream feedrate constraints) using Gantt-based planning tools.
• Lead and manage a team of planning/production engineers.
• Own supply chain coordination — vendor follow-ups, inbound material planning, inventory alignment.
• Own dispatch schedule adherence across all sub-assemblies; proactively resolve delays.
• Act as key technical point of contact for customers/sales on delivery timelines and constraints.
• Maintain ERP-based production/work orders; prepare MIS reports and dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 8–12 years in production planning within a manufacturing/precision engineering setup.
• Proven experience planning multi-stage, multi-component schedules with parallel/interdependent operations.
• Strong supply chain management experience (vendor coordination, material planning, inventory).
• Prior experience leading/managing a team.
• Hands‑on with ERP systems, MS Excel/Power BI, and Gantt-based planning tools.
• Understanding of CNC/VMC processes, cycle times, and capacity planning.
• Strong technical communication — comfortable with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
