Duties & Responsibilities
1. Production Planning
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on outlet indent and forecast.
- Allocate production based on machine capacity and manpower availability.
- Balance loads across shifts to optimize production efficiency.
2. Raw Material & Inventory Coordination
- Check inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles for raw material and packaging usage.
- Minimize wastage by tracking usage and consumption trends.
3. Production Monitoring & Control
- Monitor in-process production and resolve bottlenecks or breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain batch-wise records, yield analysis, and daily output reports.
- Track actual vs. planned output and analyze variances.
4. Dispatch & Delivery Coordination
- Align production completion with dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with the dispatch/logistics team for timely delivery to outlets.
5. MIS & Reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS on production, consumption, and wastage.
- Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews.
6. Cost Optimization
- Monitor resource utilization and implement initiatives to reduce cost per unit.
- Identify improvement areas for productivity and propose solutions.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Production Management, Engineering, Food Technology, or Supply Chain.
- Preferred: PG Diploma in Production Planning / Operations Management.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar role in food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG, or QSR.
- Experience in managing shift-wise production and working with ERP or planning tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP).
- Proficient in MS Excel and production software.
- Good communication and team coordination.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
