About the Role
Job Description: Critical (KCR): Tasks which would have a significant impact on the Organization ability to conduct normal business or objective & Non-Critical (NCR): Tasks which are important but not critical
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the master production schedule aligned with delivery commitments and capacity
- Define and enforce inventory norms (RM, WIP, FG) to optimize working capital
- Conduct capacity planning and load balancing across all work centers to support the MPS
- Lead and mentor the PPC team in daily execution and escalation management on the shop floor
- Drive machine and resource allocation strategy aligned with production priorities
- Own the Plan vs. Actual production tracking and drive corrective actions to close gaps
- Design and optimize shift schedules for manpower and raw material allocation across departments
- Maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, workmen, and vendors
- Review and authorize purchase indents and PO releases for raw materials; manage vendor escalations
- Establish and maintain RM planning, ordering, and scheduling protocols aligned with minimum stock norms
- Monitor and control production costing against BOM; identify cost-saving opportunities and flag overruns
Qualifications
- Full Time B.Tech/B.E. - Production / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA in Operations is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Stability in career (Average stay duration 5+ years)
- Outstation candidates to shift with family
- Mandatorily from the industry specified
- Highly Proficient in MS Office
- ERP business process experience required. Microsoft Dynamics AX production experience, including BI preferred.
- Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing or other MRP/ERP Systems.
- Experience working within an ISO quality & IATF and OHSAS plan a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in operations, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM implementation is preferred
