Miicron Wires & Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead specialty chemical and polymer manufacturing at our Palghar facility.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep expertise in exothermic reactions, process optimisation, and production planning to deliver safe, efficient operations. You will drive technology transfer from R&D to production, champion Lean manufacturing, and ensure ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 compliance while building a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in chemistry or chemical engineering as listed.
• Hands-on experience in specialty chemical or polymer manufacturing.
• 10+ years in manufacturing and 5+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient execution of exothermic chemical reactions and specialty polymer manufacturing.
• Drive production planning, process optimisation and manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead technology transfer from R&D to commercial production.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure high standards of process safety, quality and operational excellence.
• Lead and develop production teams.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 systems.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality and other functions to improve manufacturing performance.
• Drive initiatives around productivity, energy efficiency, waste reduction and sustainable manufacturing.

Production Manager - Specialty Chemicals

About the Role

Miicron Wires & Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead specialty chemical and polymer manufacturing operations at our Palghar facility.

This is a hands‑on manufacturing leadership role for someone experienced in specialty chemicals, polymer manufacturing, exothermic reactions, process optimisation, production planning, quality systems and operational excellence.

You will play a key role in strengthening manufacturing processes, developing production teams and supporting the scale‑up of new products from R&D to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient execution of exothermic chemical reactions and specialty polymer manufacturing
• Drive production planning, process optimisation and manufacturing efficiency

Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Bachelor/B.Tech in Chemical Technology, or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in specialty chemical or polymer manufacturing
• 5+ years in a Production Manager, Plant Manager or equivalent manufacturing leadership role
• Hands‑on experience with exothermic reaction processes
• Strong experience in polymer manufacturing
• Experience managing production teams and manufacturing operations

Preferred Technical Experience

Experience with one or more of the following will be strongly preferred:

• Phenol Blocked Isocyanates
• Organic Titanates / Organometallic Chemistry
• Polyesterimide Resins
• Specialty Polymer Manufacturing

Practical experience with:
