• Troubleshoot production issues, analyse chemical consumption, manage operators, understanding process chemistry and improving productivity.
• Coordinate with QC/QA, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Management for smooth plant operations.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu

Employment Type: Full-Time

Joining: Immediate / As mutually agreed.

1. Role & Responsibilities:

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling manufacturing operations for pearlescent pigments and mica-based products.

Key responsibilities include achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing raw-material and chemical consumption, minimizing wastage, ensuring plant efficiency and safety, and controlling costs.

The candidate should be capable of troubleshooting production issues, analysing chemical consumption, managing operators, understanding process chemistry, and improving productivity.

The role involves close coordination with QC/QA, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Management for smooth plant operations.

3. Candidate Profile:

Education:

• B.E./B.Tech./ Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Candidates with relevant manufacturing experience and strong practical knowledge may also be considered.

Experience:

Preferred: 4-8 years of hands-on production experience in chemicals, pharma APIs, pigments, specialty chemicals, mineral processing, or similar industries.

Experience in batch chemical manufacturing, chemical reactions, wet processing, calcination/furnaces, filtration, washing, drying, or TiO will be an advantage.
