Job summary

We Connect is a Hyderabad-based event management company seeking a hands-on Event Production Manager to plan and execute events from preparation through completion. You will coordinate with fabricators, vendors, internal teams and venues to ensure requirements are delivered on time and as planned.

The role requires practical understanding of fabrication, printing, branding and event setups, with the ability to handle tight timelines and last-minute changes during on-ground execution.

Role Overview

We are looking for hands-on Event Production Managers to support the planning and execution of events from preparation through completion. The role involves coordinating with vendors, fabricators, internal teams and venues to ensure that event requirements are delivered on time and as planned.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate production requirements for events, exhibitions and activations.
• Work with fabricators, printers, vendors, technicians and rental partners.
• Coordinate event elements such as stages, stalls, branding, signage, backdrops, displays and other installations.
• Prepare production checklists, timelines and material requirements.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Review designs, measurements and specifications before production.
• Assist with venue setup, installation, event-day execution and dismantling.
• Coordinate with the internal Design, Marketing and Project teams.
• Identify production issues early and find practical solutions.
• Maintain basic records of quotations, requirements, materials and vendor details.
• Support multiple projects and manage deadlines effectively.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in event production, event management, exhibitions, activations or a related field.
• Practical understanding of fabrication, printing, branding and event setups.
• Good vendor coordination and follow-up skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and handle last-minute changes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work on-ground during events and extended hours when required.
• Knowledge of basic event technical requirements such as AV, lighting and power is an advantage.
• Existing vendor or fabrication experience is a plus.

Someone who is organised, proactive and hands-on, takes ownership of assigned work, communicates clearly and is comfortable solving problems in a fast-paced event environment.

Success in 6 Months

• Independently handle production requirements for assigned events.
• Deliver assigned work within timelines and specifications.
• Minimise last-minute production issues through effective planning.
• Confidently support on-ground event execution.

Selection Process

Candidates will undergo an interview and a practical assessment focused on event production planning, coordination, problem-solving and execution. There will be two interview rounds and hiring will be finalised within a total 2 week process.
