Job summary

UD Food Products Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production activities for snacks and other food products in Ghaziabad.

The role requires 8–15 years of experience in FMCG or food manufacturing and leads the operations team to meet production targets. The ideal candidate will manage extrusion/processing lines, schedule manpower and machinery, monitor OEE, wastage and yield, and ensure adherence to recipes, SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management, and maintenance coordination.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, 5S, Kaizen and other manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities for snacks, namkeen and other food products.

Position- Production Manager FMCG

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage complete day-to-day production activities for snacks, namkeen and other food products.
2. Prepare and execute daily and monthly production plans based on orders, demand and available machine capacity.
3. Ensure timely achievement of production targets and dispatch requirements.
4. Manage production processes including extrusion, frying/processing, seasoning, blending and packing as applicable.
5. Plan and allocate manpower and machinery according to production requirements and product-wise capacity.
6. Monitor machine output, production efficiency, OEE, downtime, wastage and yield.
7. Ensure batch-wise production as per approved recipes, process parameters and production SOPs.
8. Control raw material consumption and minimize process loss, rejection and wastage.
9. Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance and quick resolution of breakdowns to minimize production loss.
10. Coordinate with Quality and other departments to ensure smooth production and timely resolution of production-related issues.
11. Manage shift operations and ensure proper handover between shifts.
12. Maintain accurate daily production records, MIS and performance reports.
13. Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase capacity, productivity and efficiency.
14. Ensure proper food hygiene, cleanliness and safety practices are followed across the production floor.
15. Lead, train and supervise production staff, operators and workers to maintain discipline, productivity and operational standards.
    

Key Skills Required
