Job summary

Manjilas Food Tech is seeking an experienced Production Manager for its Pollachi-based food manufacturing facility. You will lead end-to-end production operations, drive planning, optimise processes, and ensure food safety compliance.

The role requires 7–10 years in FMCG/food manufacturing with strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills. A focus on reducing downtime and improving efficiency will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years of experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience in production planning and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations and achieve targets.
• Ensure optimum utilisation of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Improve productivity and efficiency of manufacturing.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Quality standards compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Procurement, and Planning.
• Minimise losses, wastage, and downtime.
• Lead and develop shop-floor teams and supervisors.
• Maintain production reports, MIS, and KPIs.
• Support internal and external audits.
