Job summary

Electrobotic Manufacturing is seeking a Production Manager with 5–8 years of experience in drone manufacturing. The role requires a B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/EC and involves planning and executing daily and weekly assembly production schedules aligned to master production plans and delivery commitments.

You will allocate manpower, balance lines, monitor real-time output, coordinate with Supply Chain, drive Lean manufacturing, 5S, and KPI tracking across all drone variants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of production processes and Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily and weekly assembly production schedules aligned to the Master Production Plan and customer delivery commitments.
• Allocate manpower and assembly stations to optimize throughput across drone variants.
• Monitor real-time output against plan, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Stores to ensure uninterrupted component availability at the line.
• Manage shift schedules and handovers between shifts.
• Drive line balancing and takt time analysis to optimize cycle time and eliminate idle time.
• Own quality outcomes on the assembly floor (First Piece Approval, in-process inspection, pre-dispatch testing).
• Ensure golden sample standards are maintained at every workstation for all active drone variants.
• Coordinate with Quality on in-process inspection, rejection tagging, and RTV for defective components.
• Own rework and rejection rate tracking and present weekly quality performance with corrective actions.
• Lead Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen events across all drone assembly stages.
• Track key line metrics and identify improvements to reduce cycle time and errors.

Responsibilities:-

• Plan and execute daily and weekly toys assembly production schedules aligned to the Master Production Plan and customer delivery commitments
• Allocate manpower and assembly stations to optimize throughput across all drone variants and configurations
• Monitor real-time output against plan identify bottlenecks immediately and implement corrective action without delay
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Stores to ensure uninterrupted component availability at the line proactively flag material risks
• Manage shift schedules, shift changeover discipline, and accountability handover between shifts
• Drive line balancing and takt time analysis to optimize cycle time and eliminate idle time across all assembly stages
• Own quality outcomes on the assembly floor FPA (First Piece Approval), in-process inspection at each assembly stage, and pre-dispatch functional testing
• Ensure golden sample standards are maintained and updated at every workstation for all active drone variants
• Coordinate with the Quality team on IPQC framework in-process inspection standards, rejection tagging, and RTV (Return to Vendor) coordination for defective components
• Own rework and rejection rate tracking present weekly quality performance to the Head of Operations with clear corrective action plans
• Lead Lean manufacturing implementation across all drone assembly stages eliminating the 8 wastes systematically through Value Stream Mapping, standard work, and Kaizen events
• Drive 5S implementation and daily sustainment across the assembly floor making workplace organisation a non-negotiable standard
• Track and improve key line metrics OEE, first-pass yield, units per shift, rework rate, and cycle time per drone variant
• Identify tooling, fixture, or process improvements that reduce assembly time, reduce error risk, and improve output quality propose and implement with Head of Operations approval
