Job summary

Interflora India seeks an experienced Operations Lead to translate approved briefs into detailed execution plans, coordinating manpower, timelines, procurement, and site readiness for weddings/events.

You will oversee logistics, site execution, a team of about 6 full-time staff plus freelancers, liaise with the warehouse, and build systems, trackers, and SOPs to improve visibility and margins.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in weddings/events/film production/hospitality & housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Convert approved briefs into detailed execution plans.
• Coordinate manpower plans, timelines, procurement schedules, and production plans.
• Ensure all resources are available before project commencement.
• Liaison with inhouse warehouse for inventory on site.
• Oversee dispatch planning, transportation, site deliveries, setup schedules, and dismantling.
• Lead a team of approximately 6 full-time employees and manage freelancers, labour teams, and supervisors.
• Build systems, trackers, SOPs, reporting mechanisms, and workflows to improve visibility and scalability.
• Vendor onboarding and relationships.
• Monitor logistics, production, and procurement costs and optimize resources to protect margins.
• Act as operational partner for Sales and Design during pitches and planning.

Project Planning & Operational Readiness

• Convert approved sales and design briefs into detailed execution plans.
• Coordinate manpower plans, timelines, procurement schedules, and production plans.
• Ensure all resources are available before project commencement.
• Liaison with inhouse warehouse for smooth operations of required inventory and material on site.

Production Management & Quality Control

Sampling, production workflows, inventory utilization, and quality standards

Ensure all floral products are delivered as per approved design specifications.

Logistics & Site Execution

Oversee dispatch planning, transportation, site deliveries, setup schedules, and dismantling

Coordinate between warehouse and site teams to ensure timely execution.

Lead a team of approximately 6 full-time employees and manage freelancers, labour teams, and supervisors.

Allocate resources efficiently across projects and build execution capability.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

Build systems, trackers, SOPs, reporting mechanisms, and workflows that improve visibility, accountability, and scalability.

Eliminate bottlenecks and reduce dependency on individuals.

Vendor onboarding and relationships.

Cost Management & Margin Protection

Monitor logistics, production, and procurement costs.

Optimize resource utilization while supporting project profitability and approved margins.

Manage suppliers, transporters, freelancers, labour contractors, and production partners. Monitor performance, pricing, quality, and reliability.

Cross-Functional Support to Sales & Design Teams

Act as the operational partner for Sales and Design.

Provide execution feasibility, cost inputs, manpower planning, and operational solutions during pitching and project planning stages.
