Job summary

Jain International Trade Organisation - India seeks a Production In Charge for its vegetable dehydration production line. The role focuses on planning and supervising daily operations, optimizing labour usage, and maintaining product quality on the shop floor.

You will oversee dehydration equipment, enforce hygienic practices and food safety standards, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth plant functioning.

Qualifications

• Mid-level experience in food processing or related field.
• Experience with vegetable dehydration preferred.
• Ability to lead and train shop-floor staff.

• Manage and supervise the shop floor, ensuring effective deployment of manpower and smooth shift operations.
• Operate and oversee technical machinery related to dehydration, slicing, blanching, drying, and packing.

• Implement and monitor strict hygienic practices and food safety protocols as per FSSAI standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate supervisors and workers to maintain high productivity.
• Maintain proper documentation of production data, yields, and material consumption.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth plant functioning.
