Job summary

JITO in Indore is seeking a mid-level Production In-charge for the food processing sector, specializing in vegetable dehydration. You will plan daily production schedules and supervise the shop floor, ensuring efficient manpower deployment and adherence to quality and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with dehydration equipment, and leadership to guide supervisors and workers toward high productivity while maintaining strict hygiene and energy optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and supervision.
• Knowledge of food processing and dehydration.
• Awareness of hygiene and safety standards (FSSAI).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production schedules.
• Optimize labour and energy usage.
• Supervise shop floor operations and manpower deployment.
• Operate dehydration, slicing, blanching, drying and packing machinery.
• Maintain product quality and food safety practices.
• Lead and train supervisors and workers for productivity.

• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth plant functioning.
