Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Production Executive to oversee manufacturing processes on assigned shifts. You will ensure safety, quality and hygiene standards while supervising a hands-on team and coordinating with cross‑functional colleagues.

The role requires 3–5 years in FMCG or chemical manufacturing, preferably in shift operations, with a BE/B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. On-site role in Punjab region with GMP and ISO knowledge expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical).
• 3–5 years of FMCG or chemical manufacturing experience, preferably in shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift production to ensure timely, compliant output.
• Adhere to SOPs, GMP, safety standards and environmental norms.
• Coordinate handovers and report progress, incidents and performance metrics.
• Optimize resource use including manpower, materials and equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor breakdowns and escalate maintenance when needed.
• Maintain shift-wise records of production, wastage and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with quality control and warehousing for smooth process flow.

Job Summary

The Production Executive will oversee production processes during assigned shifts to ensure efficient, high-quality output in compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards. The role demands hands‑on operational supervision, coordination with cross‑functional teams, and real‑time problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities

• - Supervise and monitor manufacturing operations during the shift, ensuring timely production as per plan
• - Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), GMP, and safety protocols
• - Conduct shift handovers with updates on progress, incidents, and performance metrics
• - Optimize resource utilization including manpower, materials, and equipment
• - Troubleshoot minor breakdowns and elevate maintenance issues
• - Maintain accurate shift‑wise records of production, wastage, rejections and equipment performance
• - Coordinate with quality control and warehouse teams for smooth process flow
• - Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental norms
• - Lead and motivate shift workforce towards continuous improvement and discipline

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience in FMCG / chemical manufacturing (preferably in shift operations)
